  • Instead of hugging the right side of the road, hug the left!

  • @LastXdeth I hug nothing, I drive in the centre of the road!

Yeah, it would be interesting. My renewal with Bell came in at £1200 this year but when I got a new quote from Elephant for £760 Bell agreed to match it. It's always worth phoning around and playing the insurers off against each other.

  • @Zildjian285 It'd be really interesting to see the formula that the insurance companies use to calculate the premiums, I had to pay far too much for insurance this year.

  • @leapoffaith20

VED and insurance costs are not really related to engine size. VED is more to do with CO2 emissions and insurance is more to do with risk and accident statistics, etc. It just happens to be that cars with larger engines often (but not always) emit more CO2 emissions (hence the higher VED). I actually found it cheaper to insure a Mazda6 2.0 TS2 than a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 because according to the insurers the Maxda was a lesser risk, despite the larger engine!

  • @ArticMuse Petrol is expencive,we're also charged road tax and insurance on a scale with engine size.

Plus we have quite big penises so we don't really need the V8s.

  • yeah well all european roads are the same like that there are roundabouts and u would have to be very Confident if u were going to drive in England if your not use to driving on the left which is normal for u s

  • @ArticMuse All of Europe is like that. I would say France has waay more.

  • @locotche If I ever visit England (which I will! ) I could never get used to that!! Like the 4 way intersections and stuff.

  • hmm england has really many hatchback on the road than any other place ive ever seen.
