Bob Wills was the "greatest", but I have a story to tell about Bob. At 18years old I sat down to eat barbeque at a crowded joint, where everyone shared tables. My conversation with Bob went this way: He asked me "do you like western music?", and I said flatly, YES. He asked me "who is your favorite singer?", and I said flatly, "Johnnie Lee Wills, and he announced to me that he was Bob Wills, and we laughed and each enjoyed a bar-be-que sandwich together.
