Apologize - Onerepublic ORIGINAL Electric Guitar Cover (With Solo)

Please comment and rate! Me covering guitar for the original album version of Apologize by Onerepublic. My cover seems to be the only full cover of the original song on youtube.

The guitars do not kick in till the second verse so please be patient :D

Looks like its quite close - my guitar sounds very similar to the song at times and at a low volume but im definitely playing. I played this by ear and havnt tabbed it out but go on, it should be a good challenge because figuring out what the guitars are playing exactly is not as easy as it seems, they are very well mixed :D all the tabbers out there, good luck!

SOrry mate i dont tab anything, just play it a coupla times and then remember it. Its not hard at all, this song, jus gotta listen real closely as the rhythm guitar is Very background and the lead simply has too many effects on it.

OneRepublic is notorious for extremely polished and flawless mixing and guitar effects. Simple rhythm, you should be able to figure out where im holding the notes by my video itself :) the guitar i was playing is a 22 fret, tuning either standard or Eb.

May i ask did you get your guitar from 'Argos'? I'm considering getting the same one, but I'm not sure. How does it handle and are there any faults or anything like that?

No, im from NZ and the guitar was bought online in an auction. Its a cheap strat copy, but have had no problems at all with it till now. the tone selector is not too helpful though, even if there are 5 levels only the 1st, 4th and 5th really make any difference.

apologize is one of the most easiest song to harmonize/origanal lead to. good song its not hard
