Global Agenda \\ Regulation \\ Vol. 4

Okay, two things different about this video from previous Regulation videos: 1) it features medic gameplay rather than assault, and 2) it contains clips from several matches rather than one entire game.

Medic is not my main, and I have much less experience with it versus assault. I can pubstar with the best of them, but 4v4 is much different, so it's been a learning process for me. This video isn't meant to showboat (too much), but rather to highlight how to stay alive during intense 4v4 combat so you can then keep your team up and win matches.

Against bad teams, tactics don't matter, you'll simply wipe them. Against good teams, you just need to move around regularly so your DPS classes can kill their medic before you die. Against great teams, however, everyone and their cousin is riding your dick going for the kill. When they're chasing and shooting at you, however, they're not shooting your teammates, so you end up doing way more juking than healing.

The biggest thing I've learned about how to do this effectively is positioning--staying close to physical barriers that you can duck behind and then pop back out to heal your team. When there are no physical barriers, you need to jetpack juke and place yourself behind your assaults to basically trick/force people to shoot them instead of you.

Then there's the pain gun and figuring out when you can afford to pain the enemy medic without getting killed. This is only effective if your DPS classes are on the same page as you and will focus when you pain, otherwise you're taking a huge risk for no reason.

Anyway, Volume 4 presents some good examples of staying alive through intense situations by juking with jetpack, physical terrain, and teammates. As always, comments and hatred are both welcome.
