Praise during women's month at The New Olivet Baptist Church is always lively and Holy Ghost inspired. This year, the women took it to another LEVEL (a wobbling level!). Enjoy

  • Attention CHURCH FOLKS: It's okay to CRITIQUE, but be very careful how you JUDGE ;-) Allow me to suggest that you do something VERY FEW church folks actually do: READ YOUR BIBLE! 2 Samuel 6:14-23 should do it.

  • "And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose ME before your FATHER, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: there will I play before the LORD. And I will YET be more vile than thus, and will be base in my own sight: and of the maidservants which you have spoken of, of them shall I be held in honor. Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul HAD NO CHILD UNTO THE DAY OF HER DEATH." 2 Samuel 6:21-23

  • "Then David returned to bless HIS household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the King of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vail fellows SHAMElessly uncovereth himself! 2 Samuel 6:20

  • "And David danced before the LORD with all his might: and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart" (and probably said to herself, "That's a SHAME!" 2 Samuel 6:14-16

  • Jaquie, umm u know this is a shame n thats all i got to say.

  • There's no such thing as a "holy" dance in scripture; only holy DANCERS. Those who object to this type of praise dancing would have a real problem with King David's "wobble" as he was ushering the Ark of the Covenant back into Israel's camp. At least we kept our clothes on! ;-)

  • You know you are free when you can flow with however the Spirit of the Lord leads worship. What a blessing! Are you free? Pastor is saying as we wobble "I lift my hands to Jesus no other help I know, If thy withdraw thyself from me with whether shall I go...God is" and the congregation replies "Good" - What a time in the Lord!
