Produced by Dr. Elliott Haimoff of Global Science Productions (www.globalscience.biz), this one-hour documentary, PULP FICTION: THE GOLDEN AGE OF STORYTELLING, profiles a fantastic avenue of escapism for people of the 20s, 30s, and 40s, who wanted to escape the mundane routine of their daily life in the grips of the depression between the two World Wars, by buying cheap fiction magazines. One of the most famous of all Pulp Era writers, RAY BRADBURY, was interviewed and his insights are tremendous. These writers of the golden age of fiction writing shaped American culture, and they created the iconic characters who live on today in our collective hearts and imaginations. It has even been estimated that 90-95% of the top blockbusters in Hollywood movies, were based on the stories from the Pulp Fiction-era. The DVD is available through www.Amazon.com or the Global Science Productions website.
