Because I have an opinion on Furthur that differs from you and MrDeAdHeAd1989, I can't have a good time? Seems to me you're a bit too judgmental to be a true lover of Grateful Dead music. How's that for making a presumption with absolutely no basis? Sure, Furthur has busted out tunes that Garcia and the rest of the GD didn't want to play, but you know what? They're not doing any justice to said tunes. I've been listening to GD music for well over 29 years. The way Furthur plays it isn't good.

wow. sounds like you cant have a good time. bobby controls it way more than phil. you need to listen to the music more. phil leads the jams in way more interesting places. plus they have brought back all kinds of songs jerry never would have played.

I've seen a few Furthur shows as well. In my opinion, and a lot of others, they're not good. Phil controls everything that's done onstage. Nobody is allowed to take a jam in a direction that they feel it going to. That is *not* the way Grateful dead music is supposed to be played. If me giving my opinion qualifies me as a 'hater' (what are you 10?) in your eyes, I couldn't care less. You can't honestly think the shows you saw when Garcia was alive is anything like what Furthur is bringing.
