Dr Ted Herbert's message to ICC students

This is an audio recording made by Dr Ted Herbert to the students of International Christian College, Glasgow from his home after being diagnosed with cancer. This was recorded on the 24th September 2008 and played to the students on the following day.

Ted always had a great passion for God and his life was to encourage others. It has been sad to hear of his death

Iread about Ted in the Baptist times. I have never met him.I have terminal cancer but after being told i have 6 months in dec 2006,i am still here!!,but my problem now is why God should save me so far and take a mighty man of God like Ted so quickly.

For the record, he died five days later.

We will miss him at Central evangelical Church in Kilmarnock. I remember hearing him doing "the old Testament in 90 minutes"....made things a lot clearer to me. I always enjoyed hearing what he had to say. He will be missed.
