The groove down the blade is called a blood gutter and holes are so that the blade doesn't vaccum seal into a person's skin when you stab them, lets call a spade a spade. It's a knife designed to stab people and pierce vital organs, note the length if the blade... All the grip on the handle is so your hand doesn't slip on the knife as you pull it out when it's covered in blood.

@pizzledizzlewizzle hmmmm.......I'll have to look around, but #1 I don't know anyone with a military ID (fail! :( ), and #2 I haven't seen anyone down here in San Diego selling them.
Not saying I couldn't take a road trip, it's just expensive in a V8 truck lol

i baught a knife that looks exactly like this, the store i baught it from said it was a knock off one, it cost 200 dollars. the only differance is it did not had serrated edges. but it was stolen from me, and the shop i baught it from is out of town in sanfrancisco.but everything else was the same, grip handle, and it was for military and police. does anyone know what brand it might have been? it had to be replicated after this knife, because even the case is the same, glassbreaker and all

@Hovey1973 Vacuum seal into a person? You honestly think a blade will get stuck in someone when its that thin and razor sharp? LOL get the fuck out of here. It will go in and out no problem at all.

@BladeOps so same quality as the Chinese Replica which costs less then 10% of the price, just a slightly better blade, but nothing worth that much extra cash. Thanks
how tight is the blade when it is extended, can you move it at all? back and forth? side to side?

@HOORVT There is some slight side to side play and a bit more up and down just the nature of an OTF but the knife is very solid

I have a "knock off" microtech scarab. i think the best style of blade would be partial serrations on the back side so you can hold the button (swith, trigger, etc) between your index and middle finger for sawing stuff. but i like my plain edge though.

@Eddythebandkid You should make a video of your knife. We would love to see it
