Cycling on Ujpest Railroad Bridge in Budapest

This is an interesting example of railway bridge adapted to the other, non motorized traffic. The bridge is fully accessible for pedestrians and cycling, by ramps of gentle slope (not steep).
It is well connected and signed on both sides and gives really attractive and safe cycling route. The facilities were added during the bridge dismantling and reconstruction in 2008.

Ciekawy przykład dostosowania mostu kolejowego do ruchu pieszego i rowerowego. Z obu stron prowadzą do niego pochylnie o łagodnym spadku. Ruch rowerowy zyskał bardzo atrakcyjną i bezpieczną trasę dobrze włączoną w całą sieć miejską.
Usprawnienia te pojawiły się wraz z całkowitą przebudową mostu w 2008 r. po rozbiórce starego.
