Optic Neuritis Update - Peripheral Vision Test

Here's an update after my optic neuritis diagnosis 1 week ago. My optic neuritis is associated with my multiple sclerosis. Today I went in for a peripheral vision test, in this video I share a little information about that experience and I share a little make-up tip for the ladies in the end :))

When I was 18 I woke up blind in one eye and with bad vision in the other. Over a few months my vision returned to normal. Here's hoping you have an equally favorable outcome.

journaling is great. I keep a seperate video journal on my computer. I have retinatitis pigmentosa as well. Tunnel vision. Rest up.

I Don't have MS, but I was diagnosed with optic neuritis about 3 months ago. I went completly blind in my right eye, and even though its still not completly back to how it was (who knows if it will ever be!) its so much better than it was.

I always had trouble describing to my friends what I was experiencing, and when it was at its worst, I felt so isolated and down. Im so happy to have found someone who has experienced the same as me, someone who understands how shitty it is!

Hello, i'm 23 year old girl from Egypt. First, let me tell you that you're absolutely beautiful & i love your makeup and the way you talk =)) Second, my best friend's sister is a young doctor.. a very ambitious one.. she told me that she once had a young MS patient who went temporarly blind one day, as soon as she gave her the treatment-shot, she restored her vision right away, same with a girl who got paralysed, who instantly was able to walk. Third, I'll pray for you. I have FM by the way.

@christinedavi I have retinitis pigmentosa too, except im 13 and i see very well... I have a 20/25 vision and I have very good peripheral vision, but i have a -9.75 on the right and a -10.00 on the right...

In November 2009, I woke up one morning to find out the vision in my left eye was blurred. Ended up at the hospital, doing just those tests you described. Color vision was way off and so was peripheral vision. Diagnosis was optic neuritis. My left eye still gets blurry occasionally, when I'm too hot or after physical stress, but basically, it's almost normal now. Takes some time, but the chances are good. Hope yours will get back to normal too.
