What a great sound you have! Could you please tell mewhat amp your guitar is going through? Also, does your godin have the rmc pickups? Cheers-

Hi,
Your stuff sound wonderful. I just acquired both the NS1 by Carvin and a GR-33 unit. The NS1 has basically the same pick up as the Godin except for the additional preamp implemented which allows more of acoustic nylon string sound out of this instrument.
Any how what I wanted to ask you is the following. When you are using the gr-33, are you able to switch between patches of the same group by pushing the patch controls on your guitar?

@meganote And the GR-30 as well. Nice stuff!

what is a difference between gr-33 and gr-20,
i'm so confused about which one to go with,
can someone give advice, thank you,
great organization and playing

greatttt vid m8!!! i'm looking forward the same gear, godin nylon multiac, rolland guitar synth and a boss RC-2.
could u tell me the chord progression you played there? it sounded soooo nice!
tks ^^
Or do you have to do this with your feet after you had preselected those on the four pedals in the gr-33 itself?
I was just wondering why my guitar does not change the patches using its switch selector. Like I said the electronics are the same on both guitars yours and mine. Maybe there is a particular global setting on the gr-33 that needs to be activated in order to make this feature to happen? Thanks for your time and feedback.

@reygalindo - Hi Rey. Thanks. On the GR-33, go to SYSTEM, then select the S1/S2 function and change value to PATCH SELECT. That should do what you want.

question with your roland synths can you make some strings bass while leaving the regular sound of a guitar
Raylj318 2 years ago
You can only do that with the Roland GR-33, not with the GR-20.

I have been trying to get the vg 99 to work with the multiac steel but when plugged in you cannot access the guitar volume only the synth volume. I've contacted roland and godin about this. Pls do you have any advice,
Thanks Prince Ola

I don't know about the vg99. But with my 2 other Roland synths there is a guitar out mapping in the synth. I just use the GK cable from the Godin. I have no problem using the volume control on the Godin to control the guitar volume. Hope you get it worked out.
