All of y'all thinking Mos is being a 'racist' need to look at yourself. Not once in this video did he make a race based statement, all he said was Kanye doesn't deserve ALL the negative attention. He didn't call anyone a "cracker" or "whitey" or anything. And Jay Leno does have a banana boat face. Just chill out, getting and wiled up over somebody sticking up for a friend, you'd all do the same thing.

Mos Def just lost what respect I had for him! What a loser for defending Kanye's undefendable actions.. If a white male country singer that did this to Beyonce, these rappers (Mos,West etc) would be calling it uncool & racist. Rappers need to say out of Politics, they always show their true coolers in the end..They are nothing more than a bunch of moronic, racist hypocrites! Mos Def is soooo tuff with a microphone. nah it's not that he's conscious, it's the ignorant things he says while he's trying to be conscious. most of what he says i agree with ideally, it's the details that he makes some really inexcusable mistakes.
