  • Thanks for the video.

The link that appears at the start (to go to video 1) goes to the wrong series.

  • like the mold box!- bit more costly than my duct-taped paper box molds- nice work.

  • Can silicon handle casting Pewter metal? Its a low temp metal.

  • Brilliant informative video. Thank you so much.

  • I would use blu tack instead of clay because it's easier to clean up. Also in my case since rtv silicone is more expensive where I live, instead of making such a huge frame, I leave like 2 inches clearance between the piece and the edge of the blu tack, make a shallow wall of green stuff around the part leaving 1 or 2 mm clearance, and then after it hardens I pull the blu tack to make a higher wall, so I have like a little vase. That's where I pour in the rubber. Other side's the same way

  • @XanderXereus in the beginning the link to part 1 also leeds to magnetizing (but to part 1) :)

  • *prevent

  • @Th3Xp3rt sorry, i thought the point of your question was directed at using the feet for a pour spot instead of the piece of sprue... if it was, at 2:06 he explains that it helps refent air bubbles. if your question is directed as to why he injects it instead of pouring... im as lost as you :)

  • @kraden04 I see that you're injecting, but unless I refrigerate the resin I'm left holding a hot mess in 60 seconds. Florida summer hates me, I guess. Thanks for your reply, sir!
