Gameboy advance must be Nintendos crowning achivement in startup sounds. Mostly because some are too simple or short or weird(Gamecube for example) Gameboy advance FTW

Yeah nintendo has some pretty bland intros to some of thier top selling systems, gb and gbc are just a starting point for startup themes but the famicom beat that to shit in comparison and the ds's are just too blocked with tone.

Now they just said fuck it and ended the startups for most of their systems like the wii and 3ds, but the sound that seems to never get old is the gba, the boss and the only portable system they didn't screw over with crappy aud the first time around.

@gridhacker Yeah it plays the sound on your birthday, and if you go into picto chat on the same day it will show a hidden color message on your top screen. Try it out.

I wish the little jingle used at the beginning of the Wii adverts was the proper startup sound. It's much better.

@2mp2Studios Ive personaly never heard the original gameboy intro sound, I just remember all the years ive played the gba and loved the intro ^_^.
