I wish you "ABADACADABRA"!!!!!!!!!!!! you sound really bad!

@Mafila A french horn is a wind instrument. The group is a wind ensemble quartet, meaning 4 people play wind instruments. Clarinets and bassoon would be consider wood winds. :-) Just a little insight for ya.
-
What's with the horn? I thought that was a brass instrument.
-
I think the oboe player was swelling her cheeks too much, but she does have fairly good control.
-
how can I get this music for my woodwind quintet?
-
@MusicChrisis Yes French Horns are brass..But you're thinking that the're calling them woodwinds...All instruments that require air to be blown through them for a sound are called "wind" instruments.."Woodwinds" consist of clarinets, flutes, bassoons, oboes, etc. and "Brass" consist of trumpets, horns, euphoniums, etc....So technically, the are right (I've been in band for 8 years)
-
@DragonHeart549 yes but that is not precisely why they are in woodwind quartets. the french horn is a very versitile instrument sure its brass but its sound is such that it fits quite weell in a woodwind quintet
