PuyoPuyo 20th Anniversary DS Pair Battle Dongurigaeru and Ocean prince vs Ekoro and Satan

i was bored so wanted to record another pair battle im playing as Dongurigaeru and my partner is Ocean Prince
and so far this has to be my most epic pair battle so far :o i did made some mistakes...
but plz enjoy the video :3

One thing about paired battles is that whichever side sets off a larger chain first gets an immense advantage; since there is no fever mode, the one that sets off a weaker chain gets severely disadvantaged. The power coefficient is too low when one is forced to play defensively, while the enemy still gets the chance to continue building higher chains while maintaining a high chain power coefficient. The rest is just about patience and seeing the losing team finally succumb to the other team.

@creamie123 it depends how big there chains are(althou it very weak)

but when chains r margin it can be a bit trouble cause of the extra chain attack

altho it not very strong but it does help them to make a comeback! Yes, it is important to keep playing (even if ur in danger) cause they have to make a mistake later on

or build up ur extra chain attack and risk taking 1 heart (if u have at least 2 hearts left) so u can attack directly, but i was a bit nervous cause we only had one heart left.

@creamie123 so lucky ocean prince had tons of puyos than me

or we would of had a very hard time of winning, and yes each player do have like defense or attack like Arle for chaining and carbuncle for harassing(cause has a shit loads of Ls, doubles and Giants) but it very importent to make chains even if it weak

cause they may lose a heart then attack with the A.C. present 4 chain gift then and youll be trap(if margins it will be difficultto win)

And also, paired mode messes up with some the AIs since fever mode is absent. Characters who are very good at fever mode, but are bad at normal chaining become gimped with respect to the rest, since they all seem to utilize the same defensive off-set AI in paired mode.
