If you are just going to use it at home then yeah. But, if you are going to be taking it to gigs that will be a huge pain, since you wiil need to drag a computer and use the mouse to change drawbars.
Native Instruments B4 is probably the best software hammond simulation (it is really awesome!), but it is expensive. I think there is also some freeware simulator, but it sucks. NIB4 is worth to buy if you want realistic sound....
You used to be able to get a 30 day trial version. Did GOD tell him you can capture your video output with superp clarity internally with clear audio also. Talk about going the long way around.
