Just got to find the pump car then, and convince them to let me do it.
Well, the only original piece they could get would be the Reno, and I would sooner trust her with a scrap dealer who hates railroads then with the Recon people, and she is probably beyond the Grays financial ability (my estiment, between $400-750K to restore). So I guess no original equipment, unless that box car with the Reno is still standing.

Well, if you'd be willing to buy a V&T style pump car, give it your best shot. That would be pretty cool! I'd like to see some original V&T equipment on their line, they have no original stuff; they aren't really the V&T RR at all until they buy some original cars or engines.

I didn't know Tom Gray was so involved in the recon project. I seriously hope he is the one to take over after the state fails at it's over-budget attempt!

It will be a beautiful ride, and honestly i would love to do it on an old style pump car.
