@TheTylerOcon The tongue helps to shape the vowels when singing, and many people believe that the tongue needs to be flat to produce the correct sound, however this is not actually the case. With John mayer i think he sticks his tongue out because he is trying to keep his tongue flat to produce the sound he wants on the vowel. It is incorrect, but he still sounds good...

Uhh - I think you're the one who needs to go learn some English. Mayer is not the best player in the world, nor do we need anyone to have that title. Music is not a competition.
