  • I am not sure what he has for a motor in the tiger. The car is not mine i let him use the camera. I know its not stock though. I race a miata and my dad races a Triumph Spitfire. Thanks for watching it.

  • Nice, I know that hood! That is Bob or son Mike H. This Tiger has webers, 302 that might even be stroke! Great Tiger with lots of NW racing history! Early Tiger had 260 Fords the last 500 or so Tiger received the 289 2V . Mike might have had the new front end under this Tiger of his own design! Need to get up to Deer Park and run with you folks some time!

  • @mazdaspeed200 most tigers came with a 289 ford v8. a few early ones had a ford 260 v8

  • Very nice!

I have a 64 Tiger with every LAT option, but haven't had it out in a several years. Drove it around Indy at the big Tiger rally in 1986. Wally Swift (head of the Tiger Sales in the 60's)used to bring a Sunbeam Apline (lighter) and beat all the Tigers at AutoCross. Great guy!

  • My mom and dad had a 66 when i was a kid, i spent lots of time as passenger in that car.

The sound and performance has stuck with me still.

Nice job on the autocross, i used to race my Monza at our local autocross before family life killed the race budget.

As the kids leave home, i will keep my eyes open for a Tiger, one of my favorite all time cars.

    Thanks for sharing

    Cheers from Victoria BC

  • Hi,

hard rumble of the engine sounds like a sharp cam and.... Ask the owner, what he massaged the motor ;-?

Would bet, it´s a modern type 302 with some (all ,-? the goodys awailable.....

    Good holding, nice sound....

    Regards

  • it sounds like it would be the 289

  • wow! sounds fantastic. the cars got some pickup. nice bit of driving too. the helmet camera is a great idea as it follows where you are looking and isn't as juddery as being mounted on the car.

is that the 260 with wide ratio toploader or have you got a beefier motor in there?
