Do you know where this clip came from - what documentary? I'd love to learn more about Stephane (I notice it was spelled Grapelly in the movie intro; I also noticed that they mentioned George Shearing as the "celebrated blind pianist"!!
You'll want to look for "Stephane Blues" or "Stéphane's Blues there is a similar song that is actually called "Stephen's Blues" which is not it. Try looking on spotify. There are a handful albums with Stéphane's only (to my knowledge) commercially recorded and released version of "Stéphane Blues".
Thanks for uploading this and the other videos...this one, specially, is a beautiful haunting melody, ever since I heard it, I have been trying to find a recorded version, seems the only one is on this film, <thanks!
Dave Goldberg is dead in 1969. So it's not a 70's video

I've been searching for his performance with David Grisman on Johnny Carson and the Tonight show with no avail..
