NRK P3 with full RDS

NRK P3 in my car radio with full RDS-signal and stereo.
Frequency: 101,5
Transmitter: Halden
Distance: Approx 160km
Date: 2009-04-02
Radio: Clarion original radio Citroën XM

it's not so unusuall to receive NRK P3 from Halden but the signal was pretty strong tonight to even light up RDS.

I think so. It's not so unusuall to receive NRK P3 but it's unusuall to receive NRK so strong with RDS. I also got a weaker signal on 94.4 DR P4 NR to night. It lighted up the rds and stereo sporadicly.

I received P3 with RDS until around Stenungsund in Sweden, on that frequency 101.5. Though Tinitus is no longer on air, it's still my favourite radio station.

We need strong tropospheric propagation to get NRK P3 from Greipstad's 97,0 MHz here.

There is also the chance to reive NRK via e-skip here: In summer of 2002, I once received "NRK-TROM" from Tromsoe's 94,1 MHz strong with RDS via sporadic-e...
