Want to be loved get a dog. Being creative takes a special person, not always a loved one.

Reflected on my personal dealings with Porter Wagoner. While I disagreed with alot of what the man did and said, his right. He was a pioneer and anchor in the development of country music. He stayed true. Had several great hits. Member of the Opry . He was wrong on many occasions. But, oh so right so many others. With a humble heart and bowed knee, I apologize to you Mr Wagoner. Please except . I' ll be at Toostie's

@acadx To each their own opinion. This I deem was pitiful. One last grasp. While he pretty much sounded the same. He was pitiful. I had met the man on several occasions while in the business. I didn t like him. He was arrogant and self possessed. Wanting 50% of all that Dolly made was a freaking joke. The courts ruled in her faver. Porter loved Porter. Not all that shines as gold is gold. RIP Porter. You knew you were wrong on many occasions.

A very haunting performance, every word sung with real feeling. Porter has long been one of my favourite country singers, such a very talented man.

Respond to this video... love those nudie suits, wish gram parsons had been alive to be in this

@starr522 i don't agree with you, to call it pitiful is just way off base, sure he had seen better days but he still sounded great, and to say the song is pitiful well i guess what is a good song is a matter of opinion and of course you have yours, but mine is that it is a great song, and i have been in in rehabs and crisis intervention and some say i was not in a good state of mind so i can relate to it,i am happy to say now i am doing pretty good, but i thought his performance was not bad

@rrahjayh33025 The song and the performance was pitiful. Sorry. Just my humble opinion.

It is my understanding that the song was written by Johnny Cash.
