"Don't eat the Yellow Snow!" -got it. BUT WHAT ABOUT PURPLE SNOW!?!?!

Some strange thing happened for the first 22 seconds of this vid. My new GoPro H.D. filmed everything in a purple hue. (Should I dub "Purple Rain" over this for good measure?)
This was my first real day out on the slopes this season and as such wasn't exactly 100% dialed in. I've discovered that I need to secure the helmet mount straps as well. They are what make the clicking noises when I get going fast. Perhaps I'll just use one of my 3M mounting brackets and stick it to my helmet.
Anyway, as last season ('08-'09) was really the first season I started to learn skiing much at all. The previous season I self taught/learned the basics at Alta's free ski at 3PM thing about 8 or so times.
I've enjoyed getting more confident on bumps and in trees (a very new venture for me.) I think I'll keep at it for now. Skiing (snowboarding, snowshoeing and XC skiing- since I do/have all of them) is awesome! Get out in the snow you!

Hey man if you find out why the hell it does that let me know... 6 of my videos were trashed because of that. For me it stayed Purple and you couldnt see shit for some reason.
