how completely stupid could people have been to believe that light comes from the eyes.. wouldn't the first time the sun goes down, and everything goes dark, give you a clue that the light wasn't coming from your eyes? Or how bout the first time you light a candle or a torch...and when you stand in front of it, you can see a shadow because you're clearly standing in front of the light SOURCE... so stupid..
