Cero, 1999

The lyrics for this song are only spoken by the machine. The human narrator is never heard in a future world that is run by machines.

Narrator:

A rebellious being ponders its future while The Machine tries to force it into obedience.

Machine:

You are in another dimension. You have no mind, you have no body, you have no soul. I'm inside your head. I control all your functions now. You are just a nonhuman being. Be careful. You have another objective now. Don't try to escape. You are behind my control.

Narrator:

The being awakes and escapes, but doesn't know the way to freedom. Is there? The machine starts its procurement procedure to acquire the being.

Machine:

DANGER!

DANGER!

There's a malfunction in here. We must fix it. Fix it.

SEARCH!

SEARCH!

Narrator:

The machine catches the being and makes others forget about the escape.

Machine:

All is under control. This situation hasn't happened.

Narrator:

The resilient being escapes again.

Machine:

SEARCH!

SEARCH!

Narrator:

The resilient being is caught again.

Machine:

You have entered a restricted area. Stay where you are or you will be killed instantly. You are in a restricted area. Don't touch anything. We'll have no mercy. Don't touch anything. I repeat do not touch anything.

Narrator:

The being finds the button for self-destruction of the machine, and in pressing it finds the being and the machine's death.

Machine:

BIG BANG!

BIG NOISE!

DANGER!
