Guns on Campus (with concealed carry permit)

I think part of the reason that schools have become such killing zones is because they have been gone free zones thanks to fascist liberals suppressing the right to bear arms. If some ethical well-trained students and teachers with concealed carry permits were allowed to concealed carry it might help reduce shooting massacres. If we went back to the old fashioned teaching gun safety and responsibility instead of the fascist liberal mentality of blaming the gun instead of the shooter.

Another problem with the fascist liberals is they have a tendency to sympathize too much with the shooters as well as sensationalize the shootings.

I think it's OK to shoot in legitimate self-defense or the legitimate defense of others.

I think it's pathetic to sympathize with a shooter because they were teased or because they broke up with a girlfriend. It is hateful greedy self-centered sociopathic behavior to massacre people over such petty selfish grievances. It's terrorism to deliberately massacre innocent people for no justified reason.

If you're such a pathetic person that you can handle a little teasing or breaking up with a girlfriend, then perhaps you should remove yourself from the gene pool without hurting others. First you should seek professional help in case there's a solution you haven't thought of.

If you get dumped by a lover, big deal most people have, move on, find another lover or find happiness alone.

Rejection and failure is a part of life, it's not necessarily the end of the world. Like a wise man once said, the road to success is often paved with failures.

GonzalesRefLeX: Regrettably in many places if you try to legally open carry the police will threaten you on trumped up charges like inducing public panic. People are so paranoid that when they see a person in plain clothes with a gun but they assume that the person with a gun is a criminal. Many people forget that there is a constitutional right to bear arms. Many people are so paranoid and politically correct but they don't want people to have the right to bear arms.

the thing is someone that goes through the time to apply and receive a ccw obviously knows enough about firearms to operate one are and probably good enough to make good decision shots if needed. i think that concealed carry should be allowed on campus.

They hit the nail on the head with this one, it's pretty simple logic. Guns in the hands of good people is a good thing. Criminals do as they please and crazed killers want easy targets, we can't legislate them into morality, all we can do is prepare for them to do their evil deeds. Allowing students and teachers (with proper permits) to carry on campus will save lives. I wonder how many people would be alive today if Virginia allowed carrying on campus, Vtech wouldn't have been so awful.

I would love to be able to get a concealed firearm permit. Where I live there is a high incidence of rape, murder, and robbery. I just dont feel safe without a gun! A gun is advisable if you live in an area with a heavy meth problem. Thanks to Dianne Feinstein, california is now a more dangerous place to live.

A woman at a California Target store just stabbed 4 people and guess who stopped her? A person with a GUN. If Target was a gun free zone that woman would have been able to stab more people.

I wanted to view a video I thought may make sense. Who is behind it? Glenn Beck of course! You don't even have to seek him out to get great insight, he just appears! And when I thought he has earned the maximum amount of credit with me, he gains more by revealing that he carries a gun. Time after time, Glenn says publicly what my little voice says every day. He never tells me what to think, he tells America what I believe in.

it not just criminals we need guns for. last few days there have been 3 mountain lions spotted on the university of utah campus. Id rather have my .40 than a book if i run into one of those some night.

Why not? Concealed weapon holders should be able to exercise their Constitutional rights on campuses if they are public universities first of all... And anyone ever heard of the Salt Lake Mall shooter or Trolly Square? Both of those shooters were taken down by concealed weapons. The VT and Columbine shooters wouldn't have gotten as far had there been concealed weapon holders on the premises. If people are afraid of law abiding gun holders, get a gun and protect yourself.
