I hate to say (cause i'm a Maniot) but Macedonians had the stronger and better army in Greece... But that is because they were a kingdom and not a city-state as Sparta and Athens...

Not bad. However they positioned their cavalry on the flanks and not behind the formation. This had two reasons. First one was to have a formation as flexible as possible. As we see in the vid, the horses behind the line had to go all around the main battle to get behind the enemy. Second reason is that the second line mainly consisted of allied troops and reserves to fill gaps in the line or add weight to weak points. Try to be specific in historycal vids. Its the most important thing!!

thanks of the comment, i appreciate it :) i would like to stress however that, i am bound by the game engine, and my own system so this was all that i could present. if it were up to me, i would have the whole macedonian army complete with slingers and everything :P but this video was a series of videos that showed specific parts of the macedonian battle system. this video was to demonstrate what the hammer and anvil was in essence, in theory so that's why all other variables are not present :)
