This scene hasn't been broadcast since about 2002. At the time I taped this, Nick was playing both this version and the edited version, and I was lucky to have taped this when I did.
ALSO: This wasn't removed because of 9/11. This episode first aired on October 5, 2001 with this scene in it.

I so remember this scene! I've always wondered why they stopped showing this scene as well as the one where Spongebob procrastinates writing his essay. And people think it has something to do with 9/11. How can a scene with fire relate to that?! I think they thought it was too violent. Come on now! What about Tom and Jerry or the new Spongebobs? They are a lot worse.
