WTF SHE 13 she looks like 28

On the shu dian she needs to add some flowers. shu dian is: dong chang dong chang dong chang. A flower breaks up the repetive beat and emphaises a lions blink or movement. Flowers are normally done in bunches of 3, so it would be: dong chang, chang chang dong chang, chang chang chang dong chang derooo chang. 8.31 - 8.40 would be considered a futsan beat

When the drum is not in use for a long period of time then put a bag of rice inside the drum and then wrap them up with a big plastic bag (those big thick black construction garbage bag will do). Make sure it is air tight. The rice inside the drum will absorb the moisture inside the bag. If it is an emergency (needs to use the drum but not enough time to set up the charcoal), then use a good hair dryer will do....hope this would help. (I have been practicing Gung Fu for 40+ yreas).

Don't know much about Hok San drumming as I was trained in Fut San drumming. However, the traditional way to tighten up the drum skin is to set up a small pot of charcoal much like you do for BBQ. Light the charcoal until they are all white then put the drum over it (you will need two big guys to hold the drum). Make sure not to let the face (the leather) of the drum get too hot by lightly pressing your palm on the surface. If you feel it is tighten up then you should remove the drum.

@xia0dai97 Thank you so much. Which beat is called Cai Qing? is it the beat at 6:14? or 6:45?

Most of the hits of the gong should be in time with your dominant hand hitting the drum. EG in standby, the gong is always the same as your dominant hand.
