His Dad killed himself when he was a kid, but his Mum did her best on her own with two boys. Daniel McIntyre was once a funny, charming and handsome man before he became diseased by heroine addiction. He was always a handful, even before the drugs, but that doesn't mean he deserves to die - does it? Have a bit of respect for the people that loved him and dreaded the day they would get the phone call that he had died! As for the poem, it was disgusting, but he was always a shocker!

I very much doubt he was forced into drugs. We all have to face adversity in our lives and most of us make conscious choices. If he was weak and succumbed to peer pressure as those around him were. People from all walks of life hit lowpoints, but its up to oneself to take control of a situation.
