Part 2 of the exploration of Table Mountain in Oroville, California. After the rappel I am armed with only a HD digital camera to explore the cavern under the falls and make the long journey out of canyon. Completes a senior film project comparing and emphasizing the differences of modern HD filmmaking and 16 mm film.

  • ***SMOKE A BIG FAT BOWL BEFORE WATCHING*** just makes it better :)

  • Did the helicopter drop you off at the base or did you go down by yourself? I have been there so many times on top, t have not seen followed the running stream to the edge (I guess this is the Phantom Falls). Or maybe I am following the wrong stream up there anyway. No one wants to hike with me; all they want to do is look out over the city and beyond. Argh!

  • man i live right next to table mountain

  • UPDATE!

I went!! It was awesome! I love how the cows are wondering around, streams, waterfalls, lil cute flowers... Found an salamander with bright orange belly, picked up the little critter before he swam away , cute! :D

  • Ah dude! Thats sad! I've been up there dozens of times! Is deffinately worth it, espessialy in the spring when all wildflowers are blooming and waterfalls are flowing! You should deffinately head up there, when you have the chance!

  • Dude! I've always wanted to see Phantom Falls from the air! I thought he was gonna get lost! You know, if he just went to the left of the waterfall a little bit, he would've found his way out! I think he serriously had no idea where he was going! If he hiked out through Coal Canyon, then I have no idea how he ended up at the silicon mine!

  • Well done.You did a great job.

  • its an awsome vid, i enjoy seeing footage of my hometown!

  • That was awsome! Ive lived in Oroville all my life and I have never been up there. Even though in primary school we would have field trips, I didnt get to go. Until I saw this video, I never saw how it was up there! Now, Im going to make plans to get up there :) Thanks for the beautiful post! God Bless you.
