I grew up with this movie, I love it..I bet most of the kids wearing shit with Jack Skellington on it don't know a damn thing about the movie..or that it is a movie. Long live the good ol' 90's

I genuinely like this movie. I just hate how Hot Topic basically turned Jack into a mascot for wannabe gothic/emo middle school girls, much like Invader Zim's Gir. No matter where you go there's always some fat chick covered in Jack-themed merch.

@jgcooper Well yeah, but I think there can be a little too much Johnny Depp in a Tim Burton movie. The guys is great, but I can't help but roll my eyes a bit when a new Tim Burton movie comes out with Johnny as the lead. Surely there are other actors capable of playing such a diverse amount of rolls in Hollywood today.

Every person has those movies that they watched a hundred times as a kid. For me it was Winny the Pooh . 101 Dalmatians , Oliver and Friends , and the one I watched most of all The Nightmare Before Christmas

I remember my mother taking me to this film when I was super young. At that age, I couldn't really appreciate its artistic value. It was just too dark and twisted for me to really like back then. I was really surprised to see that this film developed a cult following. Especially amongst girls who seem to have a crush on the lead character. One of my ex-girlfriends said she grew up sleeping with a doll of that character in her bed. I thought she was crazy.
