The thing that angers me about information of this nature is that it is aimed toward women only!!! I am a man and I suffer from hypothyrodism!!! I had to diagnose myself for God's sake!!! I went to 3 doctors before I could even get a tsh test!!! The one who finally gave me one said he was just going to give me one to humor me!!! When he found out that I was he asked me how I knew. Well when your too tired from doing nothing to even work and hold down a job or do anything and.......cont.

SYNTHROID/T4 = the Most ineffective medicine for thyroid problems! but =biggest money maker and cheapest for the pharmaceuticals to make..see between the lines here? People with hypothyroidism are kept ill for profit with a 'one size fits all medicine' which is ludricous, there isn't one drug for every type of cancer, there isn't one size fits all for hypothyroidism equally..T3 at 140mcg dosage a day cured me but am fighting the corrupt medical system here in the UK which is fighting to stop me

@vincent4500 Thank you Vincent4500. I just finished reading the book too. I am currently on 5mg of cortef for my adrenals in the morning time and am on 1.5 grain of Nature Throid. Of course because of the cellulouse I have a morter and pestel to crush it to break up the cellulouse. I have a long way to go.

@viper2808 I have cured my thryoid problem and am DOWN TO 6O MCG of T3 a day!! this is because I straigtened out my ADRENALS IN A THREE MONTH PROGRAMME...on facebook there is a group called Stop the THyroid Madness...i got the info about how thyroid docs (even the best ones) always tend to overlook the adrenals and Hydrocortisone has this Mythological fear attributed to it...well when you thyroids not working it drags down your adrenals and vice versa...i can give you the details of what I did.

@2fresh4dell The problem is, some people like us, have to have them. I had my tyroid removed because of cancer. I NEED to have the medicine, not just living a balanced life. I am doing very well now because I have stopped taking the crap T4 levothryoxin and started taking NATURE-THROID and or ERFA. Now my body is getting back what it can no longer generate.

New approaches are 1st ignored, then violently rejected and finally accepted as self-evident truth..we must make doctors realise we're not willing to accept being forced onto T4 which is ineffective for Most sufferers and we will only accept those medicines which tho not often prescribed actually work!..T3 or T3/T4 mixtures are the only one i know of in my thyroid group that have actually worked ..i know no-one who said T4 worked even 1 percent..STOP THE CORRUPTION-CURE NOT PROFIT!
