WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY.
Part 2 of my Mega Man 2 speed run (on difficult).
In the last segment, we devoured the pitiful enemies of Metal Man, Wood Man, and Air Man. This installment shall feature the horrific demise of Flash Man, Bubble Man, Heat Man, and Crash Man. The run starts getting a lot faster and better towards the later stages, as I get more of the Item weaponry and get more serious.
Flash: Level goes pretty well. A couple spots that I could have avoided a hit or jumped slightly quicker, but really hard to get all the minute details in one go. Boss fight went about as good as it can go.
Bubble: Level went really well here too, don't really have any complaints. A few screens I could have tried to go a little faster or avoided a hit, but very little time lost. Boss fight went well, not sure how much better it could go honestly, he's a snap.
Heat Man: Level went great, almost as good as I can do. Some VERY minor little button presses here and there I would prefer different, can't be more than 2 seconds of time though. Boss fight went fine, he takes almost the same amount of time regardless too, as long as you don't miss or get hit.
Crash: A couple jumps I'd like to have done slightly better, but considering how many jumps there are in this level, I'm really proud of how most of them turned out. If only I didn't need the flash stopper on the Hard Hat guys I could use it later, oh well. Boss fight went really good for me, but I know its possible to kill him in 1-2 shots.
No real complaints on these levels, definitely picking up the slack from my first 2 stages back in part 1.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This run is conducted on a Jnes emulator. While I DO own the original copies of the game, I have no way to record them. It is the original NES version of the game played with a PS2-shaped usb controller. A really really crappy controller. Sometimes causes me to fail.
Due to screen recording/emulating, sometimes the screen/audio blips. This becomes much more apparent in the Wily stages when more stuff is going on at once. Dunno what to do about it, sorry guys.
why is metal blade broken? i figure it was intended that way

@joeratti I don't think any game developer would want any particular weapon in their game to be a complete God-mode. Especially without it being a secret or something with lots of requirements to get.
It defeats more than half the bosses in the game, the all-powerful multi-directional shooting, and near infinite energy so you never need anything else. The added size in comparison to the normal buster is an oft overlooked advantage too. Its brokenly over powered in every way.

Have you seen the new bosses in MM10? They seem kinda cheesy to me....

this is no laughing matter....
lol i would have liked to see more of the classic bosses possibly. Not all of them but at least a few just for feelings of nostalgia although the retro graphics kinda do that...

@kratos3390 What makes the old ones any better than the new names? Just familiarity. Yes "Sheep man" is a dumb name, but....Bubble Man? Flash Man? Guts Man? Gemini? Bright? Toad? Tengu? Hard? Top? Gravity? Dive?
Some of the old bosses names ain't so great either. Whats wrong with Strike Man from 10? Its fine, they're running out of elements and themes. Just like pokemons names get dumber.
