This was, and still is, my FAVORITE WARNER Brothers cartoon growing up! I cops, I love the mouse, and the line "Why do you hate me Muldoon?"
The scene at 4:26

@Thepylot78 I used to do the same thing! XD only it didn't drive my parents crazy lol. I said it to my aunt once and she was like " Oh boy the diamond? o_O " xD!!!!

Actually, A Sheep In The Deep (1962) also used it near the beginning, where Ralph's gadgets get him out of bed and on his way.

This was also the last cartoon that Michael Maltese was credited with writing for the original WB studio (he had left long before this film was released).

@vmpickle123 -- It was used one more time, ironically for the opening credits of "The Jet Cage", the cartoon Milt Franklyn died while scoring. William Lava finished up the music for the second half of the cartoon, and while his scores always seemed to have a cold, mechanical sound, he managed to do it without ever using "Powerhouse".

Actually that song's been on several.

This cartoon used to crack me up when i was a kid! I'd go around saying "Oh, da boy, da DIAMOND!" and drive my parents crazy. I just found it online and it still cracks me up at 32. lol
Is this cartoon's title a parody of "Miracle on 34th Street," a movie that had starred a young Natalie Wood?

@ClassicTVMan1981X My guess is it's "The House on 56th Street" starring Kay Francis. It was an old Warner Bros. film.

I can't think of any subsequent rendition of "Powerhouse" in a Warner cartoon from hereon. Is this really the last ever arrangement of it played at the studio?

@vmpickle123 Hmmm... could be!
I doubt Bill Lava ever used it.
