Why do you link Maithili with Brahmins ? Do you know first book in Maithily dates back to 700 , not by a Brahmin but by Sri Lal Das. Even Muslims of Mithila speak Maithily. Maihili is the language of everybodu living in Mithila, Pl select some other forom for such feelings and donot defame Maithily which is a very rich language.
