Yes I remember. I beat the game one time, it was on HARD "CUP" (might of been medium, I dont think so) or whatever haha.
Soon as I took first to take first place in the point system. Yes something happened. Doesnt matter, later on down the road I took first and WON and proved to the world.

Ya I mastered this on SNES. The old days... not hard taking 2nd. Its taking 1st place which is what is hard. Yes taking 1st place matters (they add up the points on roster for GOLDEN CUP).
