Brevard and I had the opportunity to meet and clinic with Ruth Crawford. She's a very talented rider and great clinician with a positive and motivating way of teaching. Ruth helped me to "connect the dots" where I was having trouble putting it all together. I'm the typical "mix-up-the-lefts-and-rights" type of rider who finds multi-tasking quite challenging! Needless to say, I find dressage to be very difficult at times, yet it's so fascinating. It's all (the time, the energy, the frustration...) so worth it when I finally "GET IT." :) Thank you Ruth!
Special thanks to Heidi and Jack for their hospitality and welcoming us to their beautiful farm, Rockin' K Ranch. Brevard and I very much enjoyed our visit and we look forward to seeing you again.

@uniqueygirl Thank you so much! I was worried that people would find this video to be too long and boring, but then, remembered the real reason I was posting this in the first place!.. :) For my horse friends who know us and can appreciate the time and patience it's taken to get to where we are. I have to remind myself now and then, when I get discouraged, that I'm just an amateur (learning as I go) trying to teach a young draft cross how to do dressage. NOT easy. But, well worth it! :)
