  • Hello,Im looking for my ECT Location on a 1996 toyota previa . Any Ideas Where it is..I bought one.. And where i thought it was, under the oil filter..Is not the same..

  • @synergyservice4U Hello, the ECT is at the upper water outlet to the radiator. BEWARE: sometimes on Toyota's there are two; a regular ECT and a coolant fan temp sensor. Don't get them confused. Post back if you can't find it, but this should do it. Good luck...

  • @ADPTraining Thank you so Much..This van is New to me..And Im not sure where that is.?.Ive read a few things..and one was that I have to remove the passenger seat to get it it?, After first being told it was "directly under the oil filter",,which isnt the same as the one ECT sensor I purchased..I had it read.,by comp..and it said ECT,which is causing the engine light to stay on..So would it be near the radiator in the front of the van,or more on the Engine,Which is in the middle of the van? Thx

  • @synergyservice4U To be able to read temp correctly it has to be at the water outlet. That's on top of the engine, at the outlet where the radiator hose attaches. Good luck.

  • Good video

  • @02pyromaniac Forgive me sir, self esteem is the least of the problems. All our videos are for the benefit of the general public, cost lots of money and are free. We hope to give back to our communities this way and that you post and participate. God bless.

  • no offense but you must not have enough self esteem to like your own voice :p

  • Perfect but i wish its a persons voice instead of computer...
