Yes, I went to QUT Drama, and Yes, I did Physical Theatre.... this is our end of semester showing. AND THIS MY FRIEND IS STUDENT THEATER. Gosh I hope I act better then this these day five years on. But this is Seneca's Oedipus Rex - a physical presentation of the gory eye gouging scene - see see told you it was studentarific! Fell free to use words like EDGY, Post-Feminist, Cubist and Wow, I play Oedipus - the bit with gold thread - THAT A SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION of being bound up in pain and ALSO a symbol of the optic nerves being yanked free form my head - mmmm thats student theatre for you - RAMING clever semiotics down your eager throats till your not so eager any more. This vid really show how far I've come.... I hope I've come.

  • i really enjoyed.. i lvoe that your performance was in a big circle with candles all around.

I also enjoyed the control that the dark haired girl had when she entered, she seemed so focused.

i recently did a short pysical theatre production as my final grade twelve assesment. it was based on Sadako and the thousand paper cranes.

i'm thinking about contacting my teacher to get the footage of it.

    love ashley.

p.s. nice pain face it was excellent

  • Thanks Ashley - glad you liked it - love to see your Sadako vid - post it and send me the link ok?
