The Knorr Family's Story

I noticed there was no telling of the Knorr children's sad story on here so I wanted to change that... This is truly one of the most horrific accounts of abuse and murder that I have ever heard of. Theresa Knorr and Gertrude Banizewski could have been sisters for how alike they were.

I read a book about this back in the 90's. It said Terrys skin was stuck on the closet floor and the kids were forced to clean it. It also mentioned that the mom was abused as a child too

As always..I fail to understand why people like this are able to have children and people who would take care of them, be good parents, cant.....it makes me sad.

I don't understand why the kids just didn't leave home when they turned 18. And I'm 1986 they were really talking about child abuse in schools. The cops would have come and arrested her. They have eye witness accounts from all the children who were all teenagers at the time so their stories about what happened would be used in evidence

i read the book of the knorr family.it so touched me.i am horrified that those sweet,innocent children went though so much.it brings me to tears.terry-the youngest child-i feel a connection to you.i respect you for all you have been through.your sisters are in heaven happy-for once -finally-good bless you all
