Very articulate and well formed points. ^_^ I find it hard to understand how people so uniformed about the history of marriage feel the need to "defend" it present incarnation so adamantly. That they can so completely ignore that society has been changing the definition of marriage (within western culture) repeatedly for centuries, how do they think the King James Bible came about? That's not even taking into account the definition of marriage in other cultures, guess those arn't real either.

I agree, the private parts someone has between there legs has nothing to do with character. Why do you keep debating points I agree with you on. I could never hate anyone because of being gay, in fact gay people are very likable.

Oh the colour of ones skin has nothing to do with there character? Neither does what private parts someone has between there legs, honestly.. If your marriage is so fragile that two men or two women getting married will destroy it, then that says more about your relationship than theirs!

I never mentioned bestiality. I was merely saying if you define marriage as between two entities is was not meant to be applied to, where does it end?
