  • Mozart composed this music when he was only 19 years old.

Truly genius. Begins with a melody like a crystal clear blue sky.

Grumiaux is best suited to the glorious sound of this music.

  • Best performance. It is well known among the violonists that Grumiaux has the "best" version of Mozart. :) Thank you for posting this.

  • WOW! The best version of Mozart's 3rd ever! No comparison to Stern, Kremer, Pearlman, even Zimermann! Thanks for posting!

  • His natural, and elegant mozart is very comfortable to me

  • The lightness of Mozart's music is simply divine. Nobody can be compared with him in this transparent and sublime lightness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • melodia sublime!

  • This is the best recording ever! (let's show off a little)

  • This is Mozart in optima forma........nobody better! Mozart = Grumiaux and Grumiaux = Mozart.

  • Loved the performance! The speed is perhaps a bit much for some tastes, but the clarity of the performance makes it seem not hurried but rather just energetic, just what one would have expected from a 19 year old. We musr remember that while regarded as possibly the greatest pianist of his era, Mozart was also one heck of a fiddler. I have personally played this concerto several times, sadly not nearly as well. I have always loved Grumiaux; my very first teacher had many records of his!

  • FINALLY. Yeesh. I've been searching for a recording of this cadenza for over an hour. I kept on getting the Franko cadenza.

  • I like the original cadenza better, maybe just out of familiarity, but this is awesome!

  • My teacher gave it to me yesterday! I'm going to start playing it, I hope I won't destroy this masterpiece! Amazing! Absolutely love it ♥
