LEAF International (LI) empowers youth globally through musical traditions to enhance self-esteem, educate, and to create skills, connections, and community. LI connects with partnering organizations such as orphanages and schools where youth have their basic needs met. LI acts as either a catalyst or comes in and starts a music program by connecting to local teaching artists, purchasing local instruments and costumes, and giving support for the program to take off. Since 2006, LI has helped create music programs in 8 countries: Rwanda, Bequia, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, Tanzania and partnered to help start programs in India, Colombia, and looking towards Haiti.
