I really don't care if you have or do not have religion. It's not about religion. It's about the right and wrong way to practice medicine and perform medical research. Just respect a human at any stage of development. Google "photos of a teratoma" and see what embryonic cell transfer does to people. Embryos are not human beings. They're not even conscious. A "potential life" (which I assuse is the absurd argument you'll make) is not a life and therefore doesn't overide the lives of people.

@oran6es Embryonic Stem Cells are mostly fertilized invitro eggs that will never be used and would just go to waste, why not put them to a good use? My Dad ha M.S. and this could potentially treat his disease. Maybe not in his lifetime, but I would love the day when it could be treated effectively. The Cells feel no pain, have no emotion or thoughts, and will most likely never do much more than sit in a peatree dish. Stop millions from suffering? i think its worth it.

I personally know people that live outside of the United States who have had serious parkinsons disease and have undergone embryonic stem cell, where the rest of the world has been doing it all along, while we in America, can't get that treatment, because ass holes like you want us to die over what you "think" are good intentions from the loony far religious right.
