  • Thanks CANADA we love ya. I finally was able to cry today. I was in a weird shock mode for the last 10days. I just got my power back yesterday... Thank GOD

My Husband was a 1st responder for The city of Houston so I was home with my son alone and trying to stay calm. Now I guess I just needed to let it out. My childhood beaches are gone. It is just a shock to the mind.I am praying for all those who went through this storm God Bless

  • God Bless Texas..

  • you know, i was thinking the same thing during the hurricane. i was talking to my cousin and i was like..."you know, the rest of the world is watching us get hammered because the news and weather channel is covering nothing but this". my family agreed with me 99%. it felt weird being the center of attention. =)

  • Really? Omg, I'm so sorry...

  • It's weird watching these videos to see what the rest of the world was watching why we were trying to save our behinds and living in the dark for weeks without electricity. I will never forget it either. Ike razed our home to the ground.

  • I rode out Ike (no damage, no injury) in Galveston, a city of 60,000. I guess, if my math is right the other 30,000 people mentioned were media?
