News Review 8/12/11 Man Enters Manslaughter Plea
Jonathon S. Crawford pled guilty to manslaughter in connection to the drive by shooting death of Matthew Peach which occured in 2004 at Stewart Park in Roseburg. Crawford was accused of enlisting Jesus Noe Chavez of Eugene to help settle a dispute over a meth deal. Peach was an innocent bystander
who was shot in the neck and later died. Welcome to Roseburg.

Roseburg Beacon 9/16/09 North River Boats Owner Charged with Murder. Brian Brush a former cop who had been investigated for allegedly misstating sales was later charged with the murder of his girlfriend Lisa Bonney. Sounds Gangster to me!

@thewetflarp So maby I should rephrase. Cranksters and Pimps. 6 years ago, I was friends with a guy who said he used to be a pimp. I got a little view into the OTHER side of Roseburg. Roseburg is HARFDCORE in my books. Looks boring on the surface, but the crime rate is similar to the Portland area per capita (except murder). And Portland has real gangs. Roseburg only has ganish social networks.

I just think there is something about Roseburg that tries to kick people down and keep them there. I dont fully understand it, but I have experienced it. Its like blacklisting and intimidation. There are lots of pimps and dealers here too and everybody seems afraid to talk.
