From the event's facebook page: "The idea is for all of us to gather onto Bourke Street Mall, & pretend to talk on a phone... that is actually a BANANA. We want to MAKE A SCENE, & see how long it takes for people to click & realise you are actually talking on a banana."

I was down in Melbourne for the week and was standing outside David Jones waiting for a tram and saw this. It's possibly the randomest thing I have ever seen. It was awesome though. Got a photo with the guy wearing red headphones around his neck and ray ban sunnies :)
